Life is for Living

Sometimes, just sometimes, you have to have faith. Faith that everything will turn out just fine. Faith that everything you have planned will be a success.

We have been on holiday, to Majorca, some sunshine for us all. A family holiday, no big deal you might think. But add in to that equation, one pregnant daughter, one sick daughter, my rickety knees, two small children,  two healthy sons-in-law and you may begin to see the difficulties. We had to arrange for my sick daughter to be airlifted on and off our flights in a wheelchair. We placed our faith in the hands of many people who not only performed well but went that extra mile to ensure her comfort.

Now we are home again with our memories and photographs of the happiest time spent together and as this is Storytelling Sunday, this is my story. Whatever life throws at you, just have faith. Miracles can happen.

Do join in the telling of stories today. You won't be disappointed. Sian is always delighted to have you join her.

Enjoy your day.

Wise words. Sometimes you do just have to trust in other people and have faith that things will work out well. So pleased to hear that you had a lovely time and that everything worked out just as you would have hoped!

It looks like everyone had a wonderful time--and well worth the extra effort it took to ensure everyone could participate.

Oh, yes. You are so right. I'm delighted to read that you all had a good break together. Your story spoke to me today - this morning I left my brother to the airport and I'm having to trust that everything works out for him back in the States. So thank you for adding your story to our collection

A lovely story, thank you for sharing.
As the young man says in "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel" It will all turn out right in the end and if it isn't right then it isn't the end

It sounds like a busy and stressful time but you are so right we have to have faith and trust in the Lord!

What a wonderful reminder to 'seize the day' and live while you're alive. And it's always good to be reminded that there are more good people out there, who just want to make other's happy, than we often hear about. :-)

Yay, I am glad it worked out. You're right of course about having faith. BTW, I don't get on with the tea cup ride at all, I don't like all the on the spot spinning.
