A little more Scavenging...

A day out at the seaside with all the family was an opportunity to capture A Pier.

Such is the vagary of the British weather, the above photograph was taken on Wednesday and the photograph below of A clothesline, on Thursday.

So on Wednesday, we were in raincoats and cardigans

And on Thursday, the grandchildren had fun being sprayed with the hosepipe

at a barbecue in granny's garden.

After lunch, our two little Olympians were awarded gold 'medals' as they had performed well in the mini-Olympics held earlier, Catching a Ball being a new sport added this year!

Let's hope it stays sunny for the weekend and the final two days of the Olympics.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Oh, you got the pier! I'm have a problem getting that one because I don't really live near any waters. I think it's time we make a trip to the sea shore.

The weather seems even more crazy than usual.
And that sounds like a perfect new Olympic sport.

I don't think I've seen a better illustration anywhere in blogland - British weather in all its glory!
